Paragon 28® Announces U.S. Commercial Launch of its new Bone Transport System

SPIDER MONKEY TTT™ designed to support procedural workflow, modular fixation options, and patient-managed distraction for limb preservation procedures

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 24, 2026 — Paragon 28®, Inc., a Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. company (NYSE and SIX: ZBH), today announced the U.S. commercial launch of the SPIDER MONKEY TTT™ Bone Transport System, a dedicated external fixation platform designed for transverse tibial transport (TTT) procedures.1-5

The SPIDER MONKEY TTT™ Bone Transport System is designed to support TTT procedures through corticotomy planning instrumentation, controlled distraction technology, and modular construct options. 1-5

TTT procedures are often used by surgeons in limb preservation and reconstructive settings, including cases involving diabetic foot complications, chronic wounds, limb-threatening pathology, and complex lower extremity reconstruction. The SPIDER MONKEY TTT™ System was designed with modular construct architecture that allows surgeons to tailor fixation based on anatomy, pathology, and procedural goals.3,6

SPIDER MONKEY TTT™ was developed to provide a dedicated procedural solution with patient-managed transport functionality and compatibility with existing Paragon 28 external fixation platforms.

“SPIDER MONKEY TTT™ represents an exciting addition to our limb preservation portfolio and reflects our continued focus on supporting surgeons treating complex cases,” said Albert DaCosta, Global President, Foot & Ankle, Zimmer Biomet. “We’re pleased to offer a dedicated transverse tibial transport platform with construct flexibility, procedural instrumentation, and patient-managed transport functionality.”

The SPIDER MONKEY TTT™ System features1-6:

  • Controlled distraction and compression in 0.25 mm increments
  • Audible and tactile feedback during transport activation
  • Patient-managed transport functionality
  • Up to 14 mm of total transport capability
  • Dedicated corticotomy stencil and guide instrumentation
  • Parallel and converging pin trajectory options
  • Standalone pin-to-bar fixation capability
  • Integration with Monkey Rings™ Circular External Fixation constructs
  • Compatibility with the Monkey Bars™ External Fixation System

The transporter mechanism allows distraction and compression in 0.25 mm increments and provides audible and tactile feedback during transport activation. It may also be used as a standalone pin-to-bar transport construct and/or an integrated component within a Monkey Rings™ Circular External Fixation construct.2-5

The SPIDER MONKEY TTT™ Bone Transport System is available immediately through Paragon 28’s dedicated foot and ankle sales organization throughout the United States.7
