Through Zimmer Biomet’s ‘Dollars for Doers’ program, team members are making a difference – twice over
For nearly 100 years, Zimmer Biomet’s legacy of giving has shaped who we are as a company and our team members are known for sharing their time, talent and treasure in the communities where we live and work. That spirit of service is alive and thriving in our Dollars for Doers program, a unique initiative that empowers global Zimmer Biomet team members to amplify their impact through volunteerism.
Through Dollars for Doers, team members log their volunteer hours in a dedicated online platform. For every 15 hours of service, the Zimmer Biomet Foundation contributes $100 to the team member’s charity of choice, turning “time” into “treasure.” This simple but powerful way to turn volunteering into financial support is making a difference across the globe.
“In 2024, our team members logged nearly 9,000 community volunteer hours, earning more than $35,000 for over 230 unique charities of their choice,” said Willard McCloud III, Vice President, Global Inclusion and Philanthropy. “Programs like Dollars for Doers reflect ZB’s commitment to our community and empowers our people to multiply their volunteerism by turning their time and passion into meaningful financial impact.”
Whether it’s mentoring students, supporting local food banks, or helping build homes, our employees are passionate about giving back. Dollars for Doers not only recognizes their efforts—it is a force multiplier for their impact.
