From Fracture to Recovery: A Story of Strength, Discipline and Hope

A father's fall, a family's hope, and the power of modern orthopedic care

For 86-year-old Shradhanand Bagga, movement was more than a routine. It was a philosophy that shaped his days and grounded his spirit. Each morning began early with yoga, exercise, and a brisk walk, a practice he had followed for more than 60 years. Everything changed in an instant when he fell during his daily exercise and fractured his shoulder. The injury left him facing a future he feared, one where independence might slip away and he might become a burden to the family he loved.

In the days that followed, uncertainty weighed heavily on him. He wondered if he would ever regain the freedom he had always valued. He questioned whether life would ever return to the rhythm he knew so well. During this difficult time, reassurance came from a source he trusted deeply. His son, Ajay Bagga, who works in the orthopedic field, explained that modern shoulder replacement could restore not only mobility but also confidence and independence. That conversation became a turning point in his journey.

Since his surgery in April 2025, Mr. Bagga now moves through life with renewed confidence, grateful for the care and encouragement that helped him heal.
